This exhibition’s theme is “ Shodo-The Way of the Brush”.

There are Akiko’s calligraphy school students and Tim& Akiko’s coaboration works.

“Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Yu Yu Japanese Calligraphy School”

I hold Exhibition in Tokyo last June, 2019, to celebrated 20 years for teaching Calligraphy outside Japan.

Exhibition title is,

“Blue Eyes Calligrapher Exhibition

–Celebrate of Yu Yu Japanese Calligraphy School–“.

We exhibited Czech students ,I was teaching before coming to NZ, and NZ students I am teaching now. Total 27 Calligrapher.

Then, at the Venue, Nitten Shin Kaikan, the first over 130 invited guests came to the opening party, and it was a great success!!!!!!

And, one of the Grand Master Calligrapher came  and offered us the next exhibition.

Last December, six NZ students and me exhibited at the ” National Kakyo Calligraphy Exhibition”at the National New Museum , Tokyo Roppongi, were delighted!

In addition, an offer from famous calligrapher in my home town Tottori, and in June, NZ students and CZ students decided to hold a calligraphy exhibition in Tottori.

Yu Yu Japanese Calligraphy School has started teaching Japanese Calligraphy overseas, and has reached 20 years this year.

So to celebrate this achievement, Akiko will hold an exhibition to commemorate the 20th Anniversary with 27 non Japanese students from CZ and NZ.
